Vet Care Without Leaving Your Couch: Veterinary Telehealth in Puyallup, WA
When Telehealth Is a Paw-some Fit
Telehealth works well when your pet needs guidance, follow-up support, or a conversation that does not require our team to physically examine them.
A virtual visit may be a good fit for:
Nutrition questions
Weight management conversations
Behavior concerns
Medication follow-ups
Post-surgery follow-ups when appropriate
Chronic condition check-ins
Allergy or skin follow-up discussions
Quality-of-life conversations
General pet care guidance
Pets who feel extremely stressed by car rides or clinic visits
Telehealth is not the right choice for every concern. If your pet needs lab work, X-rays, hands-on treatment, wound care, an ear exam, or evaluation for a possible infection, we will recommend an in-person visit.
Unfortunately, we still cannot reach through the screen to examine your pet, though we agree that would be a pretty fur-tastic invention.
What to Expect During a Telehealth Visit
Getting started is simple. You can book your telehealth appointment online or contact our team for help scheduling.
Before the appointment, we may ask for details about your pet’s symptoms, recent changes, medications, diet, or photos and videos when helpful. On the day of your visit, you will use a secure link to connect with our veterinary team by video.
During the visit, you can ask questions, share concerns, and talk through what you have noticed at home. We will provide personalized recommendations, explain next steps clearly, and let you know if your pet needs to be seen in person.
What Happens After a Telehealth Appointment?
After your telehealth visit, we will help you understand the next step for your pet’s care.
Depending on the situation, we may recommend home monitoring, nutrition changes, behavior strategies, medication adjustments when appropriate, an in-person exam, diagnostics, or follow-up care. If your pet’s condition cannot be safely addressed virtually, we will guide you toward the right type of visit.
Our goal is to make the plan clear and practical, so you are not left guessing what to do next. Whether your pet stays home or needs to come see us, you will have a team helping you navigate the paw-sibilities.
